Interlayer film

Introduction:

There are three main series of laminated glass interlayer films produced by E&N: EVA interlayer film, ionoplast interlayer film, and high-strength EG interlayer film that can be produced by rolling. The above products are used as new materials for outdoor architectural laminated glass and interior decorative laminated glass. The finished product has various characteristics such as safety, stability and aesthetics, and is resistant to humidity and heat, impact resistance and ultraviolet radiation, and can be used in outdoor construction and interior decoration for a long time.

Why Choose EVA Film?

In terms of transparency, EVA, PVB, and SGP are basically close.
EVA is a thermosetting product (cross-linked type), the higher the degree of cross-linking, the better the transparency. (The degree of cross-linking and its impact on performance will be discussed separately later)
Adhesive force: EVA has the strongest adhesive force, especially EVA can be bonded with decorative materials such as PET. (PVB is bonded by pressure, EVA is heated + cured to link chemical molecules) and SGP has a stronger bond with metal.
Water resistance: EVA has the best water resistance because its water absorption is very low <0.1%; PVB is about 0.4-0.6%; so EVA can be used in high humidity environments with bare edges. PVB cannot. If PVB is to be used in a high-humidity environment, it must be sealed with glass glue around the glass to prevent the film from contacting the air, otherwise there will be a risk of edge opening. (Most of the guardrails are bare edges, which is a major PVB market that EVA can share)
Tensile strength: PVB>20Mpa, most traditional EVA is about 12-14Mpa. Our new product safeglas EG≈20Mpa. SGP 34.5Mpa is the strongest;
UV blocking: EVA >99% (380nm); PVB>99% (380nm); SGP>99 (310nm?)
